Site Manager / Assistant Site Manager
About the role
- At all times comply with company policies, procedures and instructions
- Plan, establish and run health and safety systems
- Establish and implement traffic management and environmental protection plans
- Run the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met
- Revieing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
- Liaising with construction professionals and, sometimes, member of public
- Plan construction programmes and co-ordinate supplies of materials and machinery
- Collect health and safety paper work, site safety induction with all subcontractors and organise onsite tool box meeting
- Ensuring timely management of any unforeseen delays
- Hire and supervising construction workers and apprentices and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
- Hire tools and purchase building materials sometimes
- Control and monitor site waste
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
- Maintaining quality control procedures
- Finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
- Assessing and minimizing risk
- Attend all training sessions
- As site manager work on site wherever that site is, be prepared to relocate or work long and irregular hours commute as and when required.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience at a similar role will be advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of construction process
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Commercial awareness
- Problem solving ability and be able to work as part of a team
- Strong communication and written skills

Quantity Surveyor
About the role
- Review architects’ and consultants’ plans and prepare Schedule of Quantity
- Prepare head and subcontractor contracts
- Prepare each trade detailed work scope
- Procurement for supplier materials and subcontractors
- Comparison tenderers’ quotation for major trades
- Engage and document suppliers and subcontractors
- Identify potential financial or construction risks
- Forecast progress cost with site completion progress.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Skills and experience
- Minimum one-year local experience as a residential QS
- Site based project knowledge
- Experience at a main contractor before will be advantageous but not essential.
- A team player with great communication skills both oral and written
- Bilingual language skills in both English and Chinese will be a bonus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to details
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and goal oriented
